Quick Overview

Stringybark raw honey is a delicious sweet honey with a flavour strength rating of 4 out of 5.
Its called Stringybark honey because the bees created it with nectar harvested from the blossoms of Stringybark trees growing in the Strathbogie State Forest of north east Victoria
And its 'raw' honey because it has been cold-extracted, and bottled without any processing.
So it still contains pollen and other goodies that are normally filtered out in supermarket honey.
This means the honey retains all the goodness, flavour and vitality the bees originally made it with.
It is presented in a recyclable glass jar with a re-sealable metal lid so it'll never lose its goodness and flavour.

Details

Stringybark raw honey is a delicious sweet honey with a flavour strength rating of 4 out of 5.. Its called Stringybark honey because the bees created it with nectar harvested from the blossoms of Stringybark trees growing in the Strathbogie State Forest of north east Victoria. (The Stringybark is an Australian native eucalyptus tree with the latin name - Eucalyptus Macrorhyncha). Its called raw honey because it has been cold-extracted, and bottled without any processing. So the honey retains all the goodness, flavour and vitality the bees originally made it with. Naturally, because it still contains pollen and other goodies that are normally filtered out in supermartket honey, raw honey crystallizes quite quickly. You can always soften it, or course, or even return it to a liquid state if you want. All you need to do is warm it up a little. For example, by standing the jar in hot water (but not boiling!!) But whether you prefer this honey soft, solid or liquid, it'll never lose its goodness and flavour. It is presented in a recyclable glass jar with a re-sealable metal lid. About the producers The Raw Honey Company is a family business, whose apiary operations are based near Nalinga in north central Victoria. They're dedicated to the production of raw and mono-floral honeys. (You can find out more about the Raw Honey Company at www.rawhoney.farm)
